Don't worry be happy - part 2

Jeg finner av og til noen sånne dype (eller mindre dype) utsagn og sitater som gir meg et lite løft i hverdagen, ut av de - ofte unødvendige og helt idiotiske, men dog - bekymringene jeg går med. Noen ganger, som i går, er det Grey's, i dag var det i deler av neste ukes horoskop (noen ganger er det ikke horoskrap):
"If you didn't love so much, you wouldn't care so much. If you didn't care so much, you wouldn't feel so much. If you didn't feel so much, you wouldn't hurt so much. If you didn't hurt so much, you wouldn't think so much. If you didn't think so much, life would not mean so much. Sensitivity may be a mixed blessing but it remains a very precious gift."
Selvfølgelig! Jeg må bare lære meg å fokusere på det/de som faktisk betyr noe for meg, og drite litt mer i resten. For unødvendige bekymringer blir man bare fort gammel av.

Don't worry, be happy!

We're all susceptible to it, the dread and anxiety of not knowing what's coming. It's pointless in the end, because all the worrying and the making of plans for things that could or could not happen, it only makes things worse. So walk your dog or take a nap. Just whatever you do, stop worrying. Because the only cure for paranoia is to be here, just as you are.
